How CaterCTRL currently uses cookies
CaterCTRL has deliberately designed its public website to minimise tracking.
We do not currently use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking or visitor analytics.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or equivalent advertising or behavioural analytics systems.
The website itself does not currently set cookies for marketing or analytics and does not use browser localStorage or sessionStorage for visitor tracking.
Strictly necessary and security cookies
Our website is delivered and protected using infrastructure that includes Cloudflare.
Cloudflare may set security cookies including:
- cf_clearance — used to record that a visitor has successfully passed applicable Cloudflare security or challenge checks. It may remain for approximately one year depending on infrastructure configuration.
- __cf_bm — used by Cloudflare’s bot-management and security systems to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated or malicious activity. It is generally short-lived, typically around 30 minutes.
These cookies support security and protection of the website.
Because these technologies are used for website security and are treated as strictly necessary to provide and protect the requested service, we do not currently ask you to accept or reject them through a cookie-consent banner.
Cloudflare and platform infrastructure
Cloudflare and our hosting/platform infrastructure may process technical information required to deliver, secure and operate the website.
Our development/preview environment may also load platform tooling provided by Emergent. Certain preview-specific technology may not be present on the final production website.
We will review the production website after deployment and update this policy if the technologies present differ materially from those described here.
Fonts and images
CaterCTRL’s website fonts and core imagery are hosted locally and do not require normal visitors’ browsers to contact Google Fonts or Unsplash to obtain those assets.
Analytics and marketing technologies
We do not currently use visitor analytics or advertising technologies on the public CaterCTRL website.
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies in future, we will review applicable consent requirements before enabling them and update this Cookie Policy.
Where consent is legally required, such technologies will not be activated merely because a visitor continues browsing the website.
Managing cookies
Visitors can use their browser settings to view, block or delete cookies.
